New Convener for Forth Road Bridge

Councillor Phil Wheeler of City of Edinburgh Council today took over as Convener of the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (FETA), the organisation responsible for operating and maintaining the Forth Road Bridge.
1,888 Nuts to be Replaced Following Investigation

An interim report into the failure of nine heavy-duty nuts on the Forth Road Bridge has concluded that all 1,888 similar nuts on the bridge should be replaced.
